Tuomas Kaario the first swimmer who crossed the Gulf of Finland

Tuomas Kaario is a Finnish swimmer who made the astonishing challenge of crossing the Gulf of Finland, this is 65 Km., in 22 hours. But that is not all. Tuomas swam without wetsuit and the water was at a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius in many areas.

To cope with the low temperatures of the water, Tuomas had to increase the amount of fat in his body. To do that he increased in 20 Kgs his normal weight.
